The Valencia Collection is a fabulous, conversation invoking line, hand painted with a specialized brush in a combination of red, yellow and blue pigments... Then, after that, a golden “paste” is applied to the surface in a method that makes this line stand out from so many other hand painted lines… That golden paste is a mixture of pigment and an actual authentic gold mineral base that is poured into a squeeze bag, similar to the ones used in cake decorating. That paste is squeezed as a thin thread onto each glass item from a considerable height. As the paste extrudes out of the bag the decorator carefully blows through the thread forcing it onto the surface of the glass. That thread of paste adheres to the already hand painted and decorated piece of glass. Each item is then fired after all decoration to permanently set the coloration. This method helps to ensure that each product is developed uniquely and that each piece is carefully crafted and molded into a conversation piece. This glass collection includes, red wine glass, glass wine decanter, glass oil lamp, glass fruit bowl, glass platter, glass huricane lamp used as a vase as well. |
