Original papercut art, the image is of Thelonious Monk, an American jazz pianist and composer. Widely considered one of the most important musicians in jazz, Monk had a unique improvisational style and made numerous contributions to the standard jazz repertoire. Each image is hand-cut from a single sheet of paper, then mounted on beautiful, acid-free, Indian cotton rag paper. The finished artwork is mounted on a sturdy 11" x 14" mat and placed in a protective, archival-quality, cellophane sleeve. Each piece includes a unique certificate of authenticity.
