Original papercut art, the image is of John Coltrane, an American jazz saxophonist and composer. Coltrane received a posthumous Special Citation from the Pulitzer Prize Board in 2007 for his masterful improvisation, supreme musicianship and iconic centrality to the history of jazz. Each image is hand-cut from a single sheet of paper, then mounted on beautiful, acid-free, Indian cotton rag paper. The finished artwork is mounted on a sturdy 11" x 14" mat and placed in a protective, archival-quality, cellophane sleeve. Each piece includes a unique certificate of authenticity.
