Original papercut art, the image is of Miles Davis an American jazz trumpeter, bandleader, and composer.
Widely considered one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, Davis was at the forefront of almost every major development in jazz from World War II to the 1990s. He was partially responsible for the development of modal jazz, and both jazz-funk and jazz fusion arose from his work with other musicians in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Each image is hand-cut from a single sheet of paper, then mounted on beautiful, acid-free, Indian cotton rag paper. The finished artwork is mounted on a sturdy 11" x 14" mat and placed in a protective, archival-quality, cellophane sleeve. Each piece includes a unique certificate of authenticity. The artwork is entirely handmade and is signed and dated by artist Tina Tarnoff.
The modern art form is generating great reactions among art lovers, designers, and interior decorators. Give this unique wall decor as a gift for the dance lover, instructor, or music lovers in your life.
