Original papercut art, the image is of Anna Pavlova, a famous Russian ballerina of the late 19th and the early 20th century. Her name is synonymous with the art of ballet. Pavlova is a legend largely remembered for her famous dance The Dying Swan and because she was the first ballerina to travel around the world and bring ballet to people who had never seen it.
Each image is hand-cut from a single sheet of paper, then mounted on beautiful, acid-free, Indian cotton rag paper. The finished artwork is mounted on a sturdy 11" x 14" mat and placed in a protective, archival-quality, cellophane sleeve. Each piece includes a unique certificate of authenticity. The artwork is entirely handmade and is signed and dated by artist Tina Tarnoff.
The modern art form is generating great reactions among art lovers, designers, and interior decorators. Give this unique wall decor as a gift for the dance lover, instructor, or music lovers in your life.
